Ah so the Haakan-Slutar civil war lone wolf paawn thing and the Unc/Ghruch death were in the Legends of Lone Wolf books that fleshed out the gamebooks. I'll have to figure out where to find these and read them

You can download them in pdf for $25 for all 12 books (that's about £14) on John Grant's website. The actual books sometimes turn up on eBay or in second hand bookshops, but some of them are quite hard to find. I've got an old second hand copy of books 1 and 2 that I came across entirely randomly in a bookshop in Lancaster when I was looking for something else entirely. I'll probably download the pdfs at some point because I've seen how much some of the others go for, and I don't have that much money.

Here I was, all hyped-up thinking "hey Lancaster's only about a twenty minute drive from me, cool that there's a Lone Wolf guy right near me!" and then I see it's Lancaster, UK and not Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Blast!
