Took 12 hours to complete from assembly to clearcoat (my wife did about half the painting on the Phoenix, including touchups). Now it's time to work on more of my ISA Fleet...

Great job!!. Very unique paint scheme, it looks awesome. FOr some reason I'm reminded of another sci-fi series though looking at them?

Yikes! hope I never have to fight two of those at once! interesting color scheme as well, looks very clean! it appear one is leaning on a base a bit though :?:

Chern

Yeah, they're actually Both leaning a bit. It comes from having to drill out the holes for the stands, but I look at it as saying that they are turning...

I don't know what Sci-Fi series you may be thinking of, Angelus. This is the same colour-scheme I use for my Mercenary Regiment of BattleTech models...

AH-HA. I got it now. Its Peacekeepers from Farscape. WHile the ships were straight black, their interiors and peacekeeper uniforms were red, black, and white along those same lines

Actually what they remind me of is the Shivans from Conflict Freespace, they had the same black with red details thing. Very different paint scheme anyway, and very nice looking though (personally I like to make all my stuff look as close to on screen versions as I can but these still look really great :D)

maybe the black widow regiment? that goes back a ways!

No. I don't know them very well. Definitely did not start my CBT career that far back. Only started that about 10 years ago. Just in time for FASA to go bankrupt. Was very upsetting to be getting into a game and seeing the makers go away.

@Angelus: Don't know about that. I didn't watch Farscape long enough to pick up on that. After the 2nd season or so, it really went downhill fast.

@Silvereye: I figured that with the semi-living ships of the ISA, I would make like I do with my Warhammer Lizardmen and go with a similar pattern but lighter shades and colours...
I will post the images for them here as I complete them.

black widow company, as I am reminded.

Chern

Very nice.

And although its probably a coincidence they do remined me of another sci-fi film, one staring Bruce Boxleitner and Peter Jurasik in fact...

Nick

Which is worrying since that movie is older than I am...

Although these Victories would appear to under the control of the MCP

Join me Tron and we will rule the System together as... massive powerful computer program and... smaller less powerful computer program...

Nick

Should I rename them the MCPS Phoenix and MCPS Dragon, then?

That was an Awesome movie! (and actually not as old as I am and even younger when compared to CBT).

BTW, did you hear they are supposedly making a sequel to Tron?

BLARGH!!!!
What is with the lacking quality in these models?!
3 more hours of prep work and all I have managed to do is clip off the Big flash from my 96 fighters and 10 White Stars...
No filing (yet). No assembly. No painting or priming...

I am so very much not used to this.
