Id do them a silvery colour (the stipes) tbh, the white looks a bit too bright compared to the blue hulls imo

I use for the budy a 40k Tau burst cammon and the missile laucher from minis of battle tech minis.

Nifty. I may try to build something similar once I finish converting a spare Hermes hull I realized I had into a Civilian Freighter.
