More books to take my money, Mongoose?

haha too funny... money? What is money really...

there was a point this last late spring early summer where I was having a first name basis affair with the local postman AND Amazon guy and Mongoose was pretty close to not just taking my money... but my wife as she kept count of all the purchases and reminds me that for a period of about 3 months I was making thus receiving a purchase on average of every 3 days. Thankfully she put her paw down just as I pretty much caught up and now am done to weekly or biweekly purchases.. and domestic bliss has resumed

mainly now the new Mongoose stuff and flyers on some of the older stuff of interest that weren't must have's like some of the MT or Gurps books. You can have the money Mongoose.. retirement though rapidly looming as yet another birthday flew by... is no sure thing.. but my wife is precious to me beyond all words. But an addiction is an addiction and so dangerous for good reason... you can lose everything and still have a smile on your face.

I totally feel this! I love getting all these books and goodies, but my wallet is NOT happy!

I've played D&D, Pathfinder and even Starfinder, but none of them have been nearly as enjoyable for me to collect. I didn't find Traveller until MgT2e and I don't know what it is that makes Traveller special, but I just can't seem to put it down. I've even been collecting older stuff now. I've been a little disappointed that compared to 1e, there seems to be less sandbox stuff, but I just love everything about the game itself.

You should go out to the FFE website. Classic Traveller, that's the whole canon - every book, supplement, and adventure in PDF, on one CD for $35.

And Mongoose Traveller 2e is compatible with Classic Traveller.

I didn't realize it had everything. I'm hoping to pick up dead tree versions at yard sales and such for as many as I can. I'll probably skip MegaTraveller and T4 unless I just stumble upon them cheap enough, and while I don't have any interest in playing T5, I do want the hard cover books for the collection (and probably a few house rules.)

T5 supposedly has some really great stuff, but it will take someone way smarter than Me to understand those books. lol
