Mongoose products direct.

Why does Mongoose continue to offer for sale products (directly from their website) which are not in stock?
Why don't they update it to say " Out of Stock, expected arrival in stock date????".
Why continue to take a customers money when you can't meet the order?
Why annoy your customers in this manner?

I surf most of the forums here for different game systems. This issue seems to appear again and again.
I ask these questions as a loyal customer who can't understand why Mongoose can't simply update there product list on a daily basis?
An Official response would be appreciated.

It's probably extra admin that they don't have the staff to deal with. It is one thing they should address, along with an official customer services person. You shouldn't have to mail matt or Alex for an answer all the time!

that's a problem i'm encountering right now too...

I ordered metal flying bases 3 weeks ago, i haven't received them yet (wich is sad, since i planned to use them tomorrow, i planned to paint my whole two fleets next week) and 2 weeks ago i asked for an update by email. No response. One week ago, i asked again for an update, again, no response. I wanted to send one more Email then go for the forum but as other people seem to have similar problems, here i go...

I can perfectly understand that something is out of stock, i'm a patient man, if informed of the situation. I just want to know and even that seems impossible. That is sad. I like ACTA, i like the minis, i want to base them properly (i have had many many problems with my Chaos BFG fleet, i don't want to relive that again) and i can't even know what's going on.

Trouble is, Mongoose took my money. And it didn't take three weeks, THAT was instantaneous.

Ho, and to answer Burger who tell us to go to our FLGS. Mine tried to obtain those metal bases and was told they were sold only trough the Mongoose site. So here i am...

I'm in the same situation, waiting for the metal bases.
Although i did get a response within 24 hours each time i emailed.
I know there is a new guy started in that position, that maybe the reason you haven't gotten a reply, your mails could be going to the wrong place.
One minute and i'll get u the email addy of the guy aka Ed
