ok for me personaly id like to see things done more officialy not via a licence.
why, well continuity for a start, and a feel of officialness (is that a real a real word lol)
as said every week 2 weeks or so, a mini senario may take a week to do while a bigger senario would take 2 weeks, im thinking of games no more than say 1,000 points... that way its a gateway to all, mgp have a games club, a perfect place to get free playtesting and a huge body of ideas to tap into.
yes i could write senarios , but it would be a players senario, and to be honest i often brush of such articals (call me a snob if you like), and prefer company generated ones, after all i bought the book of MGP and have invested into a service as well as a product in my opinion, why buy a dog and bark yourself ?
the other thing is it doesnt have to be ballanced, you could have a simple 3 sides allies, deviants, and mercs (mercs can use a combination of any list but dont have acess to tanks or air power or anything with a kill value over 10 possably.) each senario has a map with sugested features, mission brief composition of how many points for each of the 3 sides and bam... end of a game people can fill out a simple form, win loose or draw... then next senario can take into acount results and slide the balance slightly in one direction or another....
thing would be to get people playing the game, the game will sell better the more people play it and are seen on the net to be playing it, when mgp produced minis, every new release of minis got us playing every few days, now i would be lucky to get a game every few months.
MGB is in a competative world, and they need to compete for our game time and money, sometimes just a good set of rules wont win the war,,, look at "the other game", its rubbish rules wise in comparison but its support makes it very popular.
all i am trying to do is put an idea forward to MGP on how they could support a great product, in a simple manner, and effectivly increase sales, and a player base long term.
