What size bases are being used for BF:Evo infantry?

Also are the "real" bases that orange now, the 1st figs had sand like bases, these are odd looking.

Are the new bases thinner that the 1st ones?

Lastly how are the figs mounted to the bases, or what will we have do to rebase them on a thiner base?

I've measured the first wave samples at 22mm diameter, and they are now pretty thin (I'd say about 2mm)

They are smaller than I hoped, that will hep make these buildings look better with them.

The 30mm bases were just to large, other figs I had.

Was hopping for 25mm, but 22mm is even better.

Next question. Who the heck sells 22mm bases if you want to cut them free and rebase them without cleaning up the existing ones? I've seen 20 & 25, but never 22.

try 22mm od washers or some 2p/10p coins

A different take on getting the bases to match the terrain might be to replace the 22mm base with clear discs. That way they work with any terrain, be it desert, broken grassland or urban. That's what I'm thinking of doing, anyway.

There a company that does thin FOW bases and will do customs, I will find them and post it. A very thin wood is what they have.

Also there is not really a lining up uo bases so 20mm should work.

Many may find the normal human to look tiny, as these are not super men, perhaps a 20mm base would make them look larger?

I was thinking of Tapp Plastics (a chain store for plastics in the U.S.), but I know of Litko and if they had them I'd be interested. What I'm thinking of would basically be flat clear disks, not unlike "Tiddly Winks" of childhood fame.

I have some of those, but mine are translucent blue and red and are about .75" iirc. I used them on another game as a custom token. I haven't seen clear ones though.

Col_stone, yuppers I know that, but in that case I might just be better off going to Tapp Plastics. I might trouble Litko for a bid though, and drop a bug in their ear that more than I might want to buy, lol.

thanks to antenocitis and a few ebaysellers, but it's irritating not to be able to just get what i need quickly..
