Three cheers for the mongoose team, they held a good day and took my money, not sure if thats a good thing.

So what did everyone buy, i myself bought
2e CTA rule and fleet, with the fleet coming later
crusade era EA fleet box, where i was able to swap the two nemesis for a warlock, chronos, and delphis.
the manta ray looking gaim ship and the gunship with the fork-like tail.

I bought the LW Flight from the Dark collectors edition, Victory at Sea and a G'Vrahn. And I won the ACTA tourney!

I picked up Legend of the Rangers, Lurker's guide to telepaths, Flight from the Dark, ACTA 2E rules and ordered a copy of the fleet lists.

Also blagged the free novels and got Matt to sign Death Hulk again :lol:

I got myself a G'vrahn and a new Liandra. nearly bought the Gaim but they didnt have all the ships i wanted.
new drakh mothership is nice although with right colour scheme the front could look like a panda
new ka'bin'tak is quite nice too and so are alot of the other new ships.
The Gaim fleet is excellant, best looking models I have seen from mongoose, helped out by a paint job that really suits them.

so sorry for all that i forgot to talk to. had a great day! should gotten more games in though : \
too bad my camera "died" (loss of power) so i only have like 2-3 photos from the trip (just means i got to get over next year as well : P
and then i will be checking the train tables more closely (what happend is too embarising to write abaout) but il give you all a hint.. i havent slept since the open day yet allthough on the moment i have written this i probably gona go to sleep if i get tired enough lol.

annyway it was a great day picked up way too mutch stuff.

some points though that might be worth thinking abaout on the next open day is:
1. food, chow, things to stuff in your mouth : P and drinks. i guess you ppls might be able to get some sort of deal with one of the stores in the erea.

2 VAS : you could talk to an suplier and maybe get an % off to sell through mpg`s site?

Sounds like you had a good day. Ken and I arrived late 'cos I miscalculated the time, so we were playing ACTA from the get go and didn't really have chance to have a good look at the trade stands and chat to people.

Next year definately needs:
-Traders of stuff suitable to MGP, so VaS, scenery possibly even Simple Miniatures Games and the like.
-More Dedicated demo games (Though the death race was awesome and will deifinately need running every year! (Because Allah wills it))
-Grub of some sort, though the pub round the corner was very nice.
-Hopefully more previews? I guess there were plently, I'm just not a roleplayer or an ACTA player.
-Maybe a form of 'bring and battle'.
-More tournaments or competitions (I know this was attempted).
-More staff maybe? Looked a little thin, I found it hard to ask any questions on the trade stand for the first couple of hours!
-All the lads from the US, I have yet to meet Mr. Chang.
