Matt, I saw your post in the other thread, but thought this should be broken out separately.

Galeforce9 makes helpful counters for a variety of game systems. I don't know whether they have a license agreement with those other companies, or whether they just make them.

It would be awesome if there was somebody making game aids for VAS, either MGP or another company like GF9 - assuming they worked out a mutually beneficial licensing agreement w/ you guys.

GF9 does talk to companies involved, and come to an agreement. Hence the "official" template set for SST, and the "official" sets for Hordes and Warmachine faction counters.

I'm not convinced they are needed though.

Sure they are needed! Even if you have to come up with stuff to make. . . more gaming gear is always good!!

Even like a fancy turn template or arc of fire or something.

i'm going to be making my own. they will be additions to the miniatures.
a few ideas: small bits of cotton to mark which ships have fired, cotton spray painted black to remind us which ships have fires, "wake counters" wide V shape for ships that move over 7" so we know which ones are fast targets, S shaped ones for ships that have evasive manuvers orders.etc.
