Lone Wolf Megadeal and Publishing Future.

As a long time Lone Wolf fan with some money to throw around, I have been very seriously considering getting the Lone Wolf megadeal. However, I have some reservations about the viability of the series. To be frank, Lone Wolf has not been popular in almost 20 years. If Mongoose Publishing unfortunately discovers that a market is not there for republication of all of the Lone Wolf gamebooks, what type of refund will be available for those who partake in the megadeal?

Obviously Mongoose is a legitimate publisher and would not maliciously fleece any of its customers. However, financial considerations do come into play when you are discussing a sum of money of this size.

I fervently hope that the new book series has a long and bright future ahead of it. However, any serious response to this concern would do much to allay my fears and make it far more likely that I would partake in the Megadeal.

Also, a final question, does the megadeal expire at any point? Is there a certain date one has to act by in order to purchase it?

For myself, I'm very confident that the republication of the LW series will be a success mainly because of 2 things:

-The first version of the RPG got a certain success, enough for Mongoose to go with another version of it that we will see fairly soon (When? Don't you guys have a date?)

-The video game, coming on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 next year, will surely helped for the popularity of the gamebooks.

I can safely say that the response to the mega-deal _alone_ guarantees the safety of the line. As for single purchases, we were getting them coming in every few minutes yesterday!

The future of Lone Wolf looks good.
