Liati Resculpt needed

I'm a huge fan of ACTA, i'm buying all the ships for my collection.
However the Liati is the exception.
Its a ridiculous design, the long nose ruins the ship and it just looks plain cheesy.
Every comment i've read on this forum about the Liati has expressed the same feeling.
Therefore, can we have a resculpt Mongoose?
If you think the current Liati design has to go, speak up

Hell Jay, let them get the rest of the cocked up minis out first. There's still plenty of Arma ships that don't have minis (and even some pre-Arma, such as the now Infamous Drakh Mothership and Carrier).

Though I do agree, the Liati looks plain stupid :lol:

I would think priority should be for the ships in 1st Ed that need models - ie Motherships - the ones from Armagedeon

then new ships (especially Shadows and Vorlons)

and finally then revising old ships - like the Troligon :shock: :roll: and the Liati - hopefully - I have chopped mine up and made a new one - not great but I like it better - others maybe less so............ready for it being great in 2nd Ed!!!! hopefully!

8 Havens,3 Corvans
6 Vorchans, 2 Maximi, 2 Morgath, 2 Darkner, 2 Kutai
2 Altarian, 2 Balvarian, 2 Centurion, 3 Dargan, 3 Sulust
6 primus
1 Octurion
Enough Sentri's, Razik + Rutarians to field every ship with fighters.
I will not buy the Liati till it looks better & the Adira is just little too big for my liking. It annoys me a bit as i want to complete my fleet.
Can't wait till we get Defence Sats & Star Bases.

My friend & i got all organised last weekend & based all our Minbari & Centauri Fleet till we ran out of bases so couldn't to Narn & EA.
What you need is a fridge, lots of beer, games room, no rugby on TV & the insane idea of lets base absolutly everything.
Nothing went wrong so it's obivously a recipe for sucess.
Even made colour card chits for special orders. Made them from coloured file box's as they are cheaper than coloured cardboard.

there have been quite a few interesting conversions for the Liati on the forum - maybe MGP could put together a kitbash? They made one for the Tantalus, they could make a conversion kit for the Liati...

Wow, I thought my centauri fleet was big (21 point raid), but yours makes it look like a house fleet. :shock: I've ordered my octurian, and after hearing all the horror stories about putting them together, I'm awaiting its arrival with a certain amount of dread/antisapation.

I hope that luck is NZ wide :lol: I agree with you on the liati, its not the prettiest. And it does kind of look like it came from the nearest erox store. Urobach81 has made a really nice kitbash with what looks like a haven and a sulust kit.

i am looking also for an idea for my adira conversion...after the shadow chaser project. the current MGP adira looks like an huge, expensive toy for me. i mean the current ship parts for the centauri are good enough for conversions. i must make a mold for an huge centauri battleship in the next time...then i have the base parts. :twisted:
