Leviathan Rules for ACTA WIP

Got distracted from working on Darkness Rising III (hopefully New Year 2011) and started working on this:

Very much WIP but any thoughts and comments appreciated.........

Also looking for informaiton on the KessRith ships and the non standard Commonwealth ships - although I have the old rules and supplements never managed to get the Capital Ships Briefing and ebay has thus far failed me......

Never been exposed to that universe before, but I really like the looks of the ships. I will say that my poor Narn are a bit jealous of the Spinal Mounts... They sound like what the Mag Gun should have been. In looking at it, I have to ask, is this is going to be one of those supplements that's balanced internally, but not so much interchangeable? Also, do you get to mix and match carried fighters as you choose, or is there some restriction as to what you can carry?

Indeed - working through it I think it will likely (hopefully) be internally ballanced rather than playable against B5 fleets.

The present stats are definately better as all ships have shields - I might tweek this if I can so as to allow inter universe combats but not sure yet.

re fighters: again not sure - I was toying with having light fighters on Patrol - Skirmish, Medium on Raid and any on Battle- Armeggedon but thats not really how the fluff works. Alterntively I might do it you have to buy the fighters for your shisp seperately or have a upgrade cost for having "better fighters" by having the standard fighter carried is X but you can carry Y,Z by spending a patrol point.........

Renegade Legion was a fun game and ok novel series.


Could make for a neat adaption.

Thanks for the kind words - the images I lifted straight from the orignal games books and/or counters - I do think they have a very cool and unique look

I think I've seen THE GOLDEN MEDUSAS at one of the local used bookstores. Might have been a different supplement though...it was RL. I'll try to stop in this weekend and check.

Thanks but don't worry I have that one - the only thing I am really missing is the supplement called something like Ships of the Line.

I envy you with used book stores - getting rarer around here
