Legend books you'll be getting hot off the presses?

Mongoose
I've been browsing what's up for offer in the Legend catalogue.

Monsters of legend looks interesting. I hope it's just a straight bestiary, rather than the format of the MRQ2 Bestiary. If so, it's a must have.

The core rules of course, may as well, will be handy to have a more compact version of the rules for browsing when commuting or something.

And finally Arms of Legend, I hope they've fixed the typos and various other errors that were in the MRQ2 equipment manual.

At a tenner a pop, these are great value.

Are all these coming out in one hit or in stages? It'd be good for me to know as I allocate my monthly spend on luxury goods like games at the beginning of the month, so the sooner I know when and what is coming out the sooner I'll be able to factor in how much to set aside.

I think this is immediately apparent from the release schedule on mongoose's site.

On the topic of Arms of Legend, are we going to see changes in the weapon rules/stats?

I don't know if they are errata per se, but I've found a lot of the stats for weapons odd when comparing them to one another, and I can't help but feel that they could use a workover.

Some examples (and these are stats from the updated errata):

Dagger vs. Poniard
A poniard is basically a long dagger, yet by the rules a poniard has 1) less damage 2) less hardness 3) less hit points 4) higher cost 5) higher Dex requirement.
A dagger is (by the rules) a strictly superior choice to a poniard in every situation. It doesn't make sense to me.

Longsword vs. Bastard Sword
As I read it these are fairly similar weapons, with the bastard sword having a longer hilt for an easier time two-handed. Yet by the rules, a bastard sword has 1) smaller size two-handed 2) shorter reach two-handed 3) no ability to Sunder two-handed. It is a strictly inferior choice to a longsword two-handed, and this is a weapon of equal encumbrance and stat requirements.

And why is it that War Swords, Falchions, Sabres, Long Swords (the "Core Book" swords) have Hardness 6 but Bastard Swords, Broadswords and others (the "A&E" swords) have Hardness 4? Are they inherently inferior in craftsmanship?

I had many similar :?: moments with the weapons in Arms & Equipment and ended up heavily house-ruling them as a result, to my disappointment.

As I said, I don't know if I am the only one that found oddities in the A&E weapon lists, and perhaps this is a "feature" rather than a "bug" but I would like to know if Mongoose have made changes to the weapon stats or not before I go ahead and consider buying Arms of Legend.

Just chiming in to say that I agree this seems very weird. Especially since a Poniard while historically different is basically just the French word for a dagger nowadays IIRC.
