Two items for you chaps today!

First off, a slew of new models is on the way right now - the following models have been sent off to the forge to be put into moulds and cast;

Judge Academy Tutor (with bionic bits!)
A new Street Judge
A 'heavy weapons' Street Judge, with Lawrod and Widowmaker
Three Brit-Cit Judges
A Brit-Cit Detective

Expect to see these available as soon as they have had a lick of paint, around end of July to middle of August.

Oh, and the Lawmaster has been officially commissioned. It is going to take a little while, but it is finally on its way!

Second, as we said before, the Judge Dredd rulebook will always be free online. However, if you are after a hardcopy, a lovely full colour hardback, you will soon be able to order it from Drivethru or Wargame Vault for $29.99.

Because of this, we are going to say the rulebook is pretty much complete, and start work on a supplement for the game. We would be interested to hear what you would like it to be called!

Great news all round, especialy happy that the lawmaster is on it's way!

Are there any preview pics or prelim's of the new minis anywhere?

Cheers Matt!

Excellent news although you will understand, having seen the new Dredd film trailer, that we will be pretty nervous about what type of lawmaster we are going to get.......

My wife looked at me funny and asked if i was ok becuase i kept thumb up,ing the screen.

Overall very nice! Cant wait on those lawmasters an the judge with lawrod.

As for a supplement, you could always use the good ole "streets of mc1". Which is doubly good if you are introducing vehicles and road rules.

We are going for 'strictly classic.'

That was an idea of ours, though I'll need to set aside some serious development time for it - that and I would like some big, resin vehicles ready for it too!

New models sound good. It's also good to hear that the rules are finally about done. It's always nicer to find fault in a finished product

It's good news to see that Dredd hasn't been forgotten about. Just wondering, will we be seeing more regular releases when it all starts rolling again? Also what's the plan for the book? Is it a hard copy of the PDF taht's currently out, or is it going to have new bits and the odd things that are yet to be expanded on moved about or removed?

This is fantastic news all round. I am happy to have contributed in some small way to the games development via these forums and I will be very happy to shell out for a nice coffee table book version of the rules.

The continued miniatures support for the game is just fantastic. I am on board for all of those new releases as soon as they hit the store. Resin MC1 vehicles/vehicle addons? Emphatically Yess.

As for the supplement name, it depends what it is likely to contain. Once a vague idea of contents is known it might make it easier. That said I would be partial to any book with ol' stoney face on the cover with "The Law" plastered on it in big yellow letters.

Oh, and I forgot to mention - there is also a Female Cadet Judge coming, and the Blitzer is returning, both will be available within the next 2-3 weeks.

I know what you mean, I can picture half a dozen off the shelf retail bikes that would make better Lawmasters with no adjustment or mods than the ones i saw in the trailer.

Im not short a couple of those Blitzer models but it is nice to see them return (I dint know that they were unavailable actually).

A female Cadet miniature is a very welcome addition. I like to see the Justice Departments lack of gender bias in miniature form as much as possible. I would love to see female specialist Judges too, Teks and the like.

Speaking of Tek/Tech Judges, an in game reason to field those would be a good addition to the expansion. Perhaps to chaperone/be inadvertently dismembered by/field test two or three Machanismo units maybe? That would rock.

I am pleased that there are some great Judge models on the way - the biggest differatiotor of this against other sci-fi systems. What does this mean for the zombies and Cit-Def that people were hoping for?

As will become apparent, we are testing some new sculptors on this range. Zombies will appear first, but Citi-Def are certainly still on the cards.
