I understand that the new vehicle construction system required some changes in the Trepida and the astrin. But I’m wondering about some of the inconsistencies. The Trepida has Vacuum protection which makes sense but the Astrin doesn’t? Since both are supposed to used in all environments and be orbital dropped this doesn’t make sense especially since it doesn’t cost any space. Why doesn’t it have reactive armor? Why no anti-missile system? It Carrie’s 12 troopers not 10 is mongoose increasing the squad size? No Airlock? The original was the same tonnage as the Trepida so is there a reason the new version is smaller especially when it seems to be missing key systems? Was there a reason for these changes?
