If the minis are being dumped, why even publish another game

I'm beginning to agree with Q that he and I are the kiss of death for a system. lol.
Nope, that's me.
I'm in the same boat. The last 3 games I've bought $200-400+ in minis for have tanked in a year or less.

Can you game-killers post somewhere for the rest of us what your next purchases are... So we can avoid them.

j/k

Figures sell wargame rule sets

rule sets that are good sell more figs

fig sales fund game development and future suppliments and modle ranges.

so we have nothing much to sell us on the rule sets...

if we get the rule sets we fund another company

nothing but the cover price is income for rule set producer, game dies...

well thats the history of it any way....

ive seen lots of companies go under just selling rules as they dont make the income to playtest a supliment.

great news for the modle kit market and for us, but that is but short term. its not sustainable. so eventualy we end up with rule sets that dont develop or inspire.

just my view on stuff not hard facts.

we were going to do acta, but now modle range is pulled we are not going to touch it with a barge pole.

same goes for all other future MGP games, the investment in the company is not on the line, so why throw my money away at a company that wont be investing the money.

SST i loved but allas no figs range no game, again what a waist of a sony licence !!! money down the toilet, you can bet decent licences for MGP in the future for mini games will be harder !

if your loosing money produce the same but advertise better.

AS for RPG's not somthing im a fan of personaly if an RPG open day brings as much sales per head as a Wargames tourny day i would be very supprised.

He is sooooo off my holiday card list. :P

well at least you didn't knowingly flush your money down the toilet on collectable minis junk you "knew" you could get your friends interested in !

Is Mongoose planning to discontinue all miniatures, including RuneQuest? I was really looking forward to more RuneQuest miniatures. I use miniatures for my RPGs.
