Legally at least, I do not believe Mongoose have actually done a thing wrong. They always offer refunds, and i was given the option all those many many moons ago, of receiving a mk 1 mo-ship and repairing the damage on it, which i declined, after all, I didn't want defective goods!
The issue alas is more to do with customer service, and the perceived belief on the forums that their was a new sculpt, heck, we have seen the idea for the new carrier, and were told the new mo-ship would appear. so to receive a mk1 style ship was a whopping kick in the crotch, I could have got one months ago and just milliputted the damned thing.
thing is, I love the game, but I am seriously now considering not buying another model again. I will make do with what I have, and tokens too.
I suppose I have been extremely unlucky, or mongoose just despise me, the way mine and morgs S+P submition was dealt with, then the continuing farce over the mo-ship. I certainly won't now be doing my next PDF (which was merely waiting for 2nd ed ships) which is unfair on Morgoth too. It kind of pains me that I have spent many hundreds on ACTA ships now, wish I had bought bloody BFG instead! forgeworlds Tau are quite nice.
