Matt has mentioned new drakh mothership, resculpt etc. I think it fair to say, pretty much everyone was expecting a new sculpt, not the old one re-done, but you are 100% correct Mr Katadder, i have esentially got the ship i paid for.

actually never had a problem with GW customer service either. if i ever phoned them up with a problem with something they sent me exactly what was needed, sometimes even more.
like when i ordered lots of sonic weaponry - they sent me the wrong arms to go with it (only a choice of 2). now it took me about a year to get round to building them but when i did i found this out. I phoned the mail order guys, they werent sure which arm it was supposed to be so sent me out 30 of each one (as i had 30 weapons) and this was a year after i recieved the order. the replacement parts arrived the next day.

I think with any company, you get good and Bad. When my Drakh box first was ordered, and had been in the shops for 3 weeks and I didn't have mine, Matt had it sent out (sans mo-ship) within the next few days, then I realised that I was 6 "wings" short for my drakh, and Alex sent some out next day. Unfortunately on the bad side.. I have only just received a ship I actually ordered over a year ago!
Have to say my only other direct dealings have been with Privateer, who are fab*

No where does it show a Mothership, which does give the impession that it's being resculpted.

Matt said something about the Mo-Ship getting it´s third makeover (IIRC); the Blog tells us that there is going to be a new Mo-Ship - most likely, the mk1 has been returned by a trader or something like that, and someone in the sales department wanted to finish some open orders.
At least that´s more likely than someone at Mongoose towers playing a game of "let´s see when he goes nuts" with Hiff...

I was told by somebody at Mongoose that the discolouration of the metal was due to the alloy used to make the ship, my 5 motherships range from gold-bronze to black-purple patina over the main hull of the model. The metal is flakey it parts, pitted and warped.
From the posts seen Mongoose have definately inferred that Hiff was getting one of the new models. The second one off the production line, the first going to the painting team. There would not be any of the Mk1 mother ships coming off the production line at all.
Just had a look at the Drakh fleet, when did they change from painting them in wood to using my Tiger Stripe design?
