Enhanced High-Yield Fuel Scoops
If you’re anything like the good folks at MixCorp, you were very excited to see the debut of high-yield fuel scoops. Even so, these new systems still have their limitations, though they open up a whole new horizon for acquiring fuel without having to make a run to the gas giant.
One of the biggest limitations is the stated requirements for the atmospheric density to scoop fuel. You need an atmosphere 8 or better.
We here at MixCorp feel that even standard atmospheric pressure needs to be a source of fuel for your hungry vessels, so we’ve gone out of our way to offer our brand new Enhanced High-Yield Fuel Scoops!
Amazingly, this new offering costs exactly the same, and takes up the same amount of tonnage as a standard set of high-yield fuel scoops.
How can we do this? Physics!
Going deeper into a standard atmosphere will get you just as much fuel as if you scoop a denser atmosphere at higher altitudes. So, these new enhanced high-yield fuel scoops are really exactly the same as normal High-yield fuel scoops!
Basically, we’re taking a standard set of high-yield fuel scoops and giving you permission to scoop lower in the atmosphere to get the fuel you need. It’ll work because that’s how physics works.
It might be more dangerous, but if you were looking for a safe job, perhaps you wouldn’t be a pilot scooping fuel for a living anyway.
