Heating figures to create new poses.

Also helps in straightening up rifles! Try it! Once heated, with something like a hair dryer, the figures turn really soft and bendy. But they harden again in a few seconds and stay the way you bent them.

Sorry guys, but article 3, section B of the Geneva Convention specifically prohibits hot or cold water-boarding and/or using heat and then twisting of the limbs of any soldier or scale representation thereof. Also, please use clear storage boxes as storage that does not allow light to enter could also be grounds for your house to be invaded by legions of scale lawyer models.

Storing your figures near speakers where heavy metal music is played loudly is allowed as its not considered torture, but good taste 8)

Just to squeeze the very most from my joke, there is indeed a "Geneva Convention" for miniatures games. It started 38 years ago in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It's in Indianapolis now, but they still call it "GenCon".

Ahh, that brings back memories...Of when I was in highschool and had hair down to my asscrack. :D

I don't care whether they still make heavy metal or notm I still listen to it :) and have no idea *STILL* what emo is....

Think "Simple Plan" style music while you are wearing your little sisters' smallest pair of black tight-fitting jeans with jet black straight hair, whining about the world and cutting yourself for attention and to watch yourself bleed. That's emo. Short for emotional. It's almost the new wave from the 80s meets goth.

Still got no idea, and in my combat trousers and who cares hair, don't care enough to read your post let alone waste the effort of trying to understand it ;)

Skinny, pale skinned kids with tight black clothing and straight black hair. They whinge about their existence and the meaninglessness of life and listen to music that says the same thing in a whiny way.

Broody teenagers.

I'm over it.

Is it still considered torture to play enya though? How about Bjork? I'm pretty sure the Backstreet Boys are out as well...unless you're in the navy.

Walks away from this topic and pretends he was never anywhere near it. Really doesn't want to know what the navy gets upto.

I love it when threads go completely off on a tangent!

Metal is a live and well, thank you very much.

Check out the link to my cousins band below for proof.

You can preorder their cd through HMV for a cool £8.99 (shameless plug)

But to keep with the theme of this thread....I would now like to discuss the migratory journey of the lesser spotted hump back shetland pony....

I agree actually, they are quite good. Singing is a bit "nice" for metal but it's got the rest. I must see them at some point as i only live a city away.

Ummm... the ponies, they don't exist anymore. I ate the last one yesterday

Anyway those are some good tips for rebending models and reshaping them.

Hehe

Gibbs, this thread rules.....

How it got from the original idea to talking about the backstreet boys and emo kids, I shall never truly know.

But yeah, 127th Angry Angels, they are playing the nexus in southampton on may 13th.

Their debut video is playing on kerrang, rock world and scuzz as we speak but their is a link to it on the website and myspace page.
