HE MAN Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee

and the attack of the snake men as well dont forget

he man main rules would be heman plus skelator legions

then she-ra and zordak suppliment

and then snake mena plus extras for hemans legeion and skelators minions.

follow that by machines of eternia and we are rocking.

I loved the He-man toys and story as a kid and think its an awesome idea but I doubt mongoose be able to pick up that license ((excuse spelling)) also dont forget nearly every character comes from a species of people for instance Stratos was a ruler in the cloud city and Buzzoff was a ruler in the Bee people kingdom like every character was a leader of someother faction soooo the minis potential is huge! the rpg range of books would be huge to.Not to mention they also went to other planets and that means space travel the he-man game would be very large indeed and a good line to pick up on. But I doubt it would outsell Conan.

The He-Man action figures that were so popular were ALMOST going to be Conan.

So I think that He-man was really a childs version of Conan with bit more Sceince fiction thrown in for good measure.

I'd heard that Mattel were going to do a line of toys off the Conan movie, before it became as adult as it di, so they had a designed line of toys, and no way to merchandise them, so they created a cartoon specifically for the purpose, and thuis we got He-Man.

Dunno how true that is, but I've heard it a few times.

Well, the toys, the first wave of He-man toys were around for quite awhile before the cartoon was created. Originally, there was no Prince Adam, no Sorceress, King Randor or Orko. He-man was just He-man and he shared Castle Grayskull with his arch enemy Skeletor for no reason what so ever.

The next editions of the He-man action figures and accessories were then based on the cartoon. That's where the likes of Prince Adam, The Sorceress, King Randor and Orko come in. Then there was that horrible movie adaption. Which inspired another series of He-man paraphenalia introducing newer figures from that movie and a newer look for He-man.

Personally I do like the very first series of action figures and acessories only. Though, if a RPG game is to be made from this, then I guess they should base it on one of the cartoon versions. I haven't seen head or tail of this new cartoon series made a few years ago now. Some people have said it's not as good as the first one, though the more modern animations certainly are a improvement.

As for pereferring He-man to Conan. I still agree that He-man came from Conan. I guess it's just a matter of opinion. Had they continued with the plan of making a series of Conan toys, I would have been just as happy to follow along with that.

I think a He-man game would be interesting. :)

Though with everyone being leaders of a people, it does sound a lot like the D&D birthright setting....

The PS2 game was interesting, though hard to get through levels, not very intuative, and quite frustrating at times...

Which pretty much says I have yet to complete it.

Believe it or not, there was a new version of He-Man on Cartoon Network that wasn't too bad animation-wise or story-wise. There was actually some continuity to the whole thing and a lot of background as well.

Seems there was one long long ago

Oh please! I would kill a man for some 25mil He-man action! Need Merman, Beastman, Skeletor, Stratos, Man at arms, Orko, Mossman, Hordak, Battle cat...the list is endless! Battle for Eternia! Sounds good to me. :o :o :D

Oh ods above. As if wargaming wasnt bad enough socially you guys want to associate us with a cartoon now legendary in the gay community? Wae're doomed! All doomed!

If gay guys want to play that's cool too...as long as no one dresses up as Beastman. :?

I'd be more worried about the sight of the various sickly acne ridden skinny wargamers and massive drooling hairy ones trying to fir into He Mans costume...*shudder*.

i love the he-man universe!!!!!!

im not Gay !!!! and evan if i was it wouldnt be heman that fasinated me it would be shera your find if you ask any of your gay friends (if you have any) they tend to go more for the strong female characters, rather than the macho men, as heman is a bit of a pansy with his morals.and nobody likes a nice boy do they.

i always do find conversation about the gaynes of heman funny, as it was done at the end of a inicent eara i spose,so they could get away with names like Ram man and trap jaw, i also love the way in the new series how stratos reminds me of sean connery :)

May the forces of eternia prevail

This looks like it can shed some light on how the He-man action figures came to be.
