This whole thread makes me kind of sick to my stomach. May as well discuss Mongoose publishing a Sponge-Bob RPG or Tele-Tubbies Skirmish game. He-man? Cmon, your kidding right?

I'd vote for a he-man game any day.
If anything worried me it certainly wouldn't be the gay connection.
It always seemed to me He-Man was, well... very aryan indeed. Very, very aryan. A little too much for me to be comfortable with. He's like Hitler's dream man. Terrifying stuff.

I think the Masters of the Universe would be a great RPG setting it is absolutely filled with interesting, colourful factions and backstory, and would have masses of option for character play. Especially if it was based on the more recent anime style cartoon series Eternia.

As a skirmish game or whatever though..not really my tastes, but then Im predominantly a Roleplayer and dont tend to look at things in terms of tabletop wargaming viability.. beyond my love of Battletech and very occasional game of ACTA and SST.

I was watching a snippet of the new series ( Thank you YOU-TUBE.) where Skeletor was trying to summon Hordak at a unholy shrine of his own making.

Now this reeks of RTS.

However seeing as Mongoose Publishing haven't crossed over into the territory of computer games. I would put it forward that there is probably a good table top version of a RTS game in this.
