Having trouble with some Trav related websites

Mongoose
Hi all,

I'm having trouble accessing these two websites, I've just changed ISP and there are some router issues, but I was sure I'd fixed those, so can people post here if they can access or not the following sites. Thanks

Site 1 FSpace RPG :

www.fspacerpg.com

Site 2 Burrowolf :

http://homepage.mac.com/dredington/TravArt/the_burrowwolf/

It's not that I hope that those sites are down so much as I hope it's not a problem with my ISP or router.

Thanks for the help

Hi,

I can see them both.

My ISP is BT internet, my o.s. is Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy), my browser is Mozilla Firefox 3.0.12

Oh B*******, that means it's something wrong with either my ISP, which I have switched from BT, or my router.

I'm really going off Belkin routers these days, can't get my DS to hook up to it properly either.

Thanks for the help.

If you can see *some* web sites, ignore this message :)

My setup, a BT ADSL router and an ethernet switch go into a tizzy if there's been a power cut.

The only way I can get them talking to the internet again is to switch off my PC, switch off my switch, switch off my router. I then wait 10 minutes, switch on my router, wait 10 minutes, switch on my ethernet switch, wait 10 minutes and then switch my PC on and try to access the internet.

Well I've installed my new ISPs router and all the websites are now working.

Now I have a new problem.

How do I set up IE7/IE8 so that when I click on a link in Outlook Express, it opens said link in a new tab of the browser window?

I've tried all the settings and no luck.

@Beech

You're welcome, just glad I'm able to visit.

@DreamingBadger

OE just works for me so I'll stick with that, the problem seems to be the settings in IE 8, because even when I'm in the browser on it's own and say "Open in NEw Tab" it's opening things in a whole new window.

It's reallya nnoying.

SO anyone got any ideas how to fix that, I've got all the tabbed browsing settings set so that it should work properly, but it isn't.

(Considering giving Firefox a whirl)

OK that's weird.

Reveiwing posts since I last logged in, tried to open the relevant threads in another Tab, some did open in new tabs, but one of them opened in another Window.

Weird!!!!

Thanks for your help everyone, Firefox is installed and working the way I want it to

Now if I can just confirm that Planet Mongoose is down and it's not just me I'll be sure my changeover to the new ISP and browser is hitch free.
