Glorantha book

Mongoose
I like the Glorantha setting, and would like to rune some Runequest games in Glorantha. But I am bothered that apparently I need to buy at least half a dozen thin hardbacks for 25 dollars apiece. This makes Glorantha difficult to afford to get into. I'm not even sure if I will get enough books.

What I would like to see is one book that would give a gamemaster enough information to run a Runequest game in Glorantha. Something with enough rules from the MRQ core book, the Companion book, an Legendary adventures to avoid having to carry around those three books, and enough information about at least one region of Glorantha to run a series of adventures in that region.

It wouldn't need everything from all the books, since GMs who wanted to expand beyond the base region or who wanted more detail could buy the other books. But I would gladly pay up to 60 dollars (U.S.) for a single, comprehensive Glorantha volume.

As it is, getting into Glorantha just might not be in my budget. I would really like to see one comprehensive guide to Glorantha.

Actually, I think I am going to demand it.

As much as I like the world of Glorantha, I think unless Mongoose can come up with a single comprehensive volume that at least provides enough for players and DMs to get started. Forgotten Realms could be a good model here: the Campaign Sourcebook is enough to get going in the Realms, while motivated DMs and Players can buy as many FR supplements as they wish.

There is one book. Glorantha the 2nd age.
The rest is dressing, that can be added as you see fit.

Now, a big, beefy third age tome... thats another talk :)
