Agreed. Have a think about the character of the fleets (the 'salvagable' and 'recreatable' dilgar technology) and what the fleet should be doing.
I think the previous version certainly got the scale right, with the Rah'Kahm being the biggest thing in there - and that only as it's a command ship. Raider-esque fleets shouldn't have war- and armageddon-priority ships as you can't keep such a vessel hidden!
The standard raider ships are fine - you might want to think carefully about the raider nova, though - I can't decide whether the Dilgar would find using the corpses of their enemies ships amusing or an insult to their ability.
The extinction battlewagon is a logical one, and the slight variant of dilgar ships makes sense too (adding lasers) - of course there have been quite a few new ships at low priorities added to the dilgar (including the game's smallest command ship) which make sense. Also, the new emphasis on antiship missiles is quite nice - a strike carrier or battlewagon refitted with missile tubes would be a good way to add some unexpected ranged firepower to a raider fleet.
I'm happy to lend what help I can.
