Gaim refit #3--huh?

Is there a reason why the Gaim can get a refit that changes a weapon from Boresite to Fore arc? None of their ships have Boresight weapons...

Shadow Queen pointed it out immediately she got her book but nothing said about what to replace it with as yet - unless of course a new Gaim ship with bore sight is made up in S+P?

Or maybe it's a typo (Drakh Cruiser aft weapons) that wasn't corrected for production??

Ah another typo fixed then i guess - what does it do for those with the older versions of the fleetbook!

According to my copy...

"3 Turbo Weapons: Choose one weapon system. It immediately gains the Double Damage trait but has its Attack Dice reduced by half (rounding up) +1."

It was seriously "facanating" to have a Drakh ship, where Drakh engineers decided to put the totally unique and far superior guns on the aft ^^.

Mongoose should really post changes like this on thier website... so that those who loyaly pre-ordered the book (and as a result ended up with plenty of typos and incorrect rules) actually have everything they need to play the game.

In fact I saw in a mates fleet book bought at the Colours show today that the new fleet books are already being printed without the "combining rules"...

I guess the bonus of an in house printing facility is ease of correcting errors... and at the same time is also a problem.

How many versions of the 2nd ed rules or fleet books are there out there now? 2... 3...
