EU vs US?

Thought this might be of some use to people at a loss for motivation behind a EU/US war besides wargames:

Something like this might do at a stretch 10 years down the line :D

Euros are a step up from Lire lol.
I always thought it must be pretty mind blowing to go from paying say, 1,000,000 lire, to 1 Euro for a can of coke :D
(Obviously it wasn't that bad but it seems like that)

*shrugs* You'll see stranger things....

There's a few things that'd cause a fight between the US and the EU.... most of them are Economic, since England offsets France, and the Germans like making money hand over fist with US DOD contracts....

Everyones to busy grabbing near east resources at the moment to think about war anyway :D (Between 1st world countries of course) Might be a different matter once all the pieces are tied up, that or god forbid we'll have to start using our own :D

The big source of conflict will be access to resources.

China wants oil to fuel its economy. America wants the same. As does Europe. There will be conflict over it. The war in Iraq, meant to secure oil supplies for the US, hasn't really worked out.

That leaves a couple of obvious targets - Canada (which has oil and mineral resources) and Venezuala (damn left wing popular government and also oil and stuff).
The US has had contingent plans for the invasion of Canada in the past, but won't say if they have a current one. The US however do want to take control of Canadas borders in the near future.

Actually...we get a good portion of our oil from Canada.... The middle east supplies most of Europe...

China entered into a deal with Venezuala for oil.....

Im thinking more along the lines of the natural gas line running through afghanistan and things like that, noone really needs it, but thats no reason not to ensure noone else gets it :D

And of course, water is also likely to be a resource over which nations (particularly in the "area of interest" for the rules) are likley to come into conflict.

Especially with coca-cola rampantly draining the aquafers around the globe...
Still better than that plant they made rebottling tap water to sell as mineral water, those mud sucking mother lovers!

The tap water things 100% true :D They had to pull the product and everything.
The aquafer things somewhat spurious but it makes sense if you think about it, where else would they get the water from if they've had to stop using tap water

Funny, it doesn't say they've stopped using it... and it looks like it's just the nancy-pants British water people having hissy fits because they think it implies that their water is impure...

Which, incidently, tastes like stale bathwater..... seriously, we had to go up stairs to get a decent glass of water when I was living in England.

Dasani was pulled from release as far as I'm aware, because as you rightly say, British tap waters minging and coke quite rightly realised none would ever buy it... once they found out :D
===> Thinking about it though it might have been released Im not up on my bottled water :?

Yeah...honestly, even after that article, and anyone who's actually drunk English tap water... It'd rather drink the purified stuff...
