Ducks and Swim Skill

I can't find any bonus to Swim skill for ducks anywhere, have I missed it? Leg Paddler on Page 164 mentions a racial bonus to Swim skill. All the Backgrounds get +10% Swim, but that isn't much, and if it's the same for all, then why doesn't Leg Paddler just say +10%?

Bump. Do Ducks get a racial Swim Skill bonus? I've searched the PDF now that it is available, and it's not mentioned. Penguin and Seagull Keets get +40%.

This is a very serious problem with the RQ ruleset. How could they possibly overlook this!? Another new revision is in order.
If there's going to be an errata, then it might as well cover all the omissions. It looks like Races of Glorantha is the least error-prone of the Gloranthan books though.

Not as such. If you feel that is a glaring omission (after all, they had to learn the skill as normal and received no bonus in RQ3), you can give them an Excellent Swimmer trait giving them a +30% to Swim. Whatever floats your boat.

Every race in RQ3 had its own base chances for skills. Ducks had a much higher Swim base chance than humans. Also, as per my original post, "Leg Paddler" on Page 164 is completely worthless without a racial bonus.

...Although it does claim Cragspider is a Dark Troll...

She used to be. Then she wasn't. Then she might have been. Now she was.

That's Cragspider all over.

In all due respect, it's a duck.
OK, I get it, you don't like ducks, but when one of the three playable races in the Races Book has a mistake that affects their playable description, it needs an errata. Feel free to ignore it, but I want to play one.

Well, first she wasn't - The earliest description we have of her is in "White Bear and Red Moon" says "Even the
dragons were not sure of her ancestry, for she lived in her mountain
long before they were hatched"

The Miscellanea in White Bear & Red Moon contains a myth of a God called "Soul Arranger" - one of the Lawgivers, who arranged the future populations of most men. After dealing with the east, the south, and the west he rested at what became Dragon Pass before spreading "his seed and his word" in the north [This is apparently Larnste, God of Change]. The Duchy of The Blue Moon, however was never planned by the Soul Arranger "Who had been seduced away from his work by a masterful witch nymph later called Cragspider."
