Does anyone have some good ship record forms they can share

Mongoose
with me? ACTA:SF of course. :)

I'm a tad short on time lately to do up some ship record sheets - I'm busy painting minis for a game in 3 weeks - and I'm wondering if anyone would care to share some with me via Private Mail/Email?

I am hoping someone has something good to use until Mongoose comes out with theirs (or even after if said sheets are superior to Mongoose's).

Thanks.

I've got some done up. At least all the Feds & Klingons from the squadron boxes, and a blank template for making more.

PM me with your email and I'll send them off this weekend.

I've gotten so far:
An interactive Excel spreadsheet from Steeleviper that's pretty neat.
4 more offers, which is pretty darn nice of you all.

Now I have plenty of options to see what works best for me. :D

Awesome guys, thanks.

Where is that spreadsheet? If we could get a "data free" version that wouldn't violate any copyrights posted, that would be very helpful.

I made up a blank sheet in ms publisher. Ill see if I can attach the file here.

Nope, could not attach the file, sorry.

I have all of the ships from the rules in Excel. I updated them to the last errata, except one Gorn ship where there was a lot of argument as to which phasers should be deleted.

If you PM me I will send them to you as soon as I can. Out of town until 3-20, but I might be able to have someone in my family send them along before then.

Sorry for the necro-post. I've been using a ship record generator that does them up using a full sheet of paper. I've come to the conclusion that for larger battles (squadrons in use) that being able to put 3 ships on a sheet of color-coded paper (with the same color on the ship bases) would be a good thing. Shuffling through numerous sheets for the right ship is getting time consuming and would be worse in big battles.

Anyone have something that will generate ships in a format that can fit 3 or 4 on a page?

Thanks

We can only upload/attach images.

I've opened up a Yahoo! Group for people to post their record sheets, aids, etc. It has sections for the big three games (ACTA:SF, ACTA:NA, JD) but if interest is there I can create more.

The info is in this post "Elist for consoldiating player/fan made aids"

I can post files to it if the creator doesn't wish to join, but you have to join to download anything.. I wish there was a better option than a yahoo group.

You can get an blog account at Wordpress and host the files there. All free.

Another option would be google drive. Cloud service and allows sharing of files you put there. Particulary handy if you already have google account(gmail, youtube etc).

I've made some sheets for the Federation and Klingon ships using Illustrator, but I wasn't sure if it was okay to post them since Mongoose/ADB is planning to sell the reference cards. Comments? If its okay, I'll post my versions on boardgamegeek.com

I'd like a copy of some if possible, even if they aren't for public distribution as it'll make me doing them for fighters and carriers a lot easier.

I know that SVC regards ship stats as proprietary information.

Does this apply to unofficial stuff, ie some carriers/escorts/fighters which are variants on available hulls?

SVC is very protective of the Copy rights. (and should be) I imaginge Matt is the same way. Best to keepthem informed. I doubt either will object as long as it for your own use.

Actually Mongoose have always had a very open policy with the ships stats which allowed awesome free resources like ship viewers and fleet creation programs. It was hugely valuable in getting new players into the game and teaching/playing aids especially since fans were producing things for free

Publishing conjectual ship stats/designs for ACTA ships was never a problem before SFU. Thats one of the things the forum used to be about.............

The two compaines have many quite different approaches to many things.....

And the legalities and licensing issues are now very different than with previous incarnations of ACTA. Unfortunately.
