Maybe it's been asked before, I've been a long time lurker and spent my cash on 2 armies for the game.
What I wanted to know was the game ever pitched to model shops as opposed to the usual games shops? There would surely have been potential to tap a new market of non gamers that way too who might just have seen the models when looking for thier next kit.
I ask because in Edinburgh we only have one gaming shop but 3 different model shops all of which sell a range of military models and one even stocks some GW stuff. Another stocked the Airfix game when it was out and the Italeri WW2 game. Point is not one of them stocked BF Evo and even the local games shop would only get in if you asked for specific items. Therefore nowhere in were there really any models on display to catch and draw in customers.
Course that could just be down to the local shops I suppose.
Anyway just a thought thats been bugging me.
