I would second the call for posting the guide anyway...

You don't need a good rant to acompany a good modelling tutorial...

I did mine by cleaning it thoroughly then fitting it with epoxy glue. that gave two minutes to align it until it went off (plus the glue will hold it fairly well).
Once that set I back filled as required with two part putty.
Main problem is aligning all of the parts at the same time, as you can't do it one piece at a time. The epoxy glue helped there a lot (I used araldite).

I people want really REALLY easy models to assemble, they should stick to GW plastics.
