Combat Potions and Magic Combat Skill

I was looking through the Magician Of Dessi class last night and while looking at Alchemy Combat Potion, I began to wonder if it effects the dessi while using his magic combat skill with his staff. I would be inclined to say yes but I'm not 100% sure.

Certainly Grey Star did use Alether to improve his combat capabilities.

Again, exactly correct. A Dessi can certainly benefit from his own Combat potions. In fact, it is the wise Dessi that makes sure he has time to prepare before a combat by doing just that.
