Anybody started working on a cheat sheet? I figure after I get a little time and am more familar with the rules I will be working on one.

It's crossed my mind, but not really done anything yet. Was sorting out some ship sheets to use against a friend of mine.
 
I made one with Excell. I have a few revisions but it includes crit charts, special action, turn sequence, traits and special weapons. Where would I upload it at?
 
I have ship cards done for the Federation, Klingons and Romulans, will do the Kzinti, Gorn Tholians, and Orions if I ever get my pre-ordered rule book.

Would be happy to share.

Received my ACA: SF for Christmas. My son and I are breaking out some old MicoMachines to test out the rules until we get some of those cool new miniatures.

Here is a quick and dirty ship card for the D7 and Constitution. If the layout works OK, I am going to do all of the ships in the book.

Note they are over-sized so they look better when shrunk to fit on a letter size paper.

NOTE: Pick moved to later in topic to reflect changes

First glance, I don't like the chart overlay on top of the graphic image. It's too hard to read.

As to doing charts for the rest of the book ... please don't post them without clearing it with The Powers That Be first.
 
Excellent work but I tend to agree the background image is not helpful

As Sgt G says - MGP are saying that they are intending to produce similar sheets - supposedly next few months......They/ADB are hoping to actually produce and sell them - so we have to wait....

I hope that they are a) as good as these and b) actually appear.
 
Thanks for the input. I lightened the ship backgrounds a bit. We like them, but I could see where they could be distracting.

Based out or first play through last night, I realized the range for weapons was not on the sheet. Also added the Escalate numbers below each critical.

Hope they make cards soon then . . . .
 
Those look quite good, something I would buy if/when official ones are released. A couple of things however: The background image is a little distracting and can interfere with reading the chart, a small image off to one side might be better. Also the traits look like they've been randomly placed, maybe align in columns. I think if you have the 'common' traits in the same place on all sheets they would be easy to find. It could look something like this, albeit much neater:

Traits: Agile / Lumbering
Labs X, Transporters X, Tractors X
Shuttles X, <other traits here>

Otherwise looks good.

Esculate numbers is a good idea.

I'd even just consider having a small pic at one side - if you have not done so - there are a variety of older ACTA: B5 ship sheets here which may give ideas :)

I added marines to this try. I also cleaned up the traits. Top line would be for traits that cannot be removed. Others have a box so they can be marked damages, as to the weapons.

I am going to give this version a test in the next couple of days to see what else I missed.

Pic is still a bit over sized to allow for compression on print.

 
Much better. I think the ship pic is just the right size now, assuming that you can fit everything you need for a DN / C8 / KRC9 on the card. Just a thought, have you considered a landscape layout instead of the portrait version?
