Centauri Colors

Finally got my Centauri models (*cheers*). Not a big fan of the traditonal purple and gold scheme. Curious to know what other people did for their color scheme to get some ideas. Pics would really be good.
 
No pics, sorry, but I went with the purple and gold-Primary is Reapers Metallic Purple Steel Secondaries another Metailic (varying with ship giving me Green Vorchan, Gold Vorchan etc). Along with a darkish grey & Gold for relief
 
Well mine are blood red and gold (even if some people say they are orange - obviously they are not :) )

Well I like it and thats all that matters.........

GW's sales figures for liche purple paint will probably drop now mongoose doesn't make centauri minies anymore.
 
I really like your color scheme Boss. Do you happen to have a Primus or Octurion in your red and gold scheme you can post a pic of?
 
Court Jester did a grey/pink/gold scheme once. He sold the fleet some time ago though... Have to admit it was pretty striking, but I still think his purple/gold fleet is way better.
 
I'm afraid ... purple and gold. Well, purple and silver ... with a gold trim.
Still work in progress as have to do the markings yet and some final highlights, but probably get the idea.

Given that House Fleets are probably varied colours plenty of leeway for us all :)

Look forward to seeing the Black with red and gold
 
I've got a spare Kutai, if you want.

(I've also just recieved four more Vorchans, but I've got my own plans for them)
