Centauri Colors

Mine are more-or-less standard, with a few changes. I went for Warlock Purple with a purple ink wash, Codex Gray drybrushed over black for the "metal" bits and Brazen Brass for the gold trim (thought the gold paint was a bit too bright). A bit more reddish-purple than what's often used, but closer to the earlier series darkish pink Primus colouring I think.

I have seen pretty nice black-and-gold and even Russian-style 3-tone blue camo paint jobs.
 
For my stealth raid fleet I did them in a very deep dark maroon red/subtle camo with gold trimmings. I found it looks cool and differentiates from my trad purple and gold main fleet.
 
Thanks for all the pictures and input. You guys have given me alot of neat color schemes to try and experiment with. Will post pics when I get them done. Again, thanks.
 
I finally painted my Cylon theme Centauri fleet...posted pics in the modelling and painting forum 8)

I myself am happy with the result 8)
