Ahah! I think we have found the silver bullet that caused the demise of the Tower of the Sun forums. The dwarves decided to host a recruitment kegger and some clumsy oaf dumped dwarf spirits all over the server!
Those boom bowder and Bor Brew shots are not for the fainthearted.
I would be less than fulfilling my duties as a Dwarf Ambassador to point out that while the TotS forums are temporarily down, the mechanics behind that would allow you to join and become a dwarf in anticipation of the restoration are still working

True, though generally speaking promising future keggers has never historically been an efficient recruitment technique. That's why university fraternities nowadays don't have any trouble with recruitment but the British Navy had to constantly resort to press-gangs and the like. :wink:

I cannot speak for our Allies, but their is no need to slow down the recruiting now, especially if we have to go into a period of rebuilding.
