The model does not look nearly as good as in the cartoon from what I can see. Is this one of those models that just looks bad in the picture?

Also how has this unit worked for you?

Are they worth the points?

The CHAS is a great model imo. Independent with a wide variety of weapons. Its great as a skirmisher, jump in, fry the area and run back.
And the Alpha Strike is awesome, Ready as a Reaction, second reaction Alpha Strike and wipe out the enemy.

I really like the CHAS mini, and it's a demon on the battlefield. Great against Skinnies.

Head needs complete rework (just one red eye as on the package), shoulder-mounted weapons need to be removed and transfered to the torso and the right arm (ape morita) needs to be redone.
Rest seems to be okay.

I'm addinga Dreadnought power plant to the back of mine, just to make it look beefier... also adding them to my Ape Marauder suits. Swapped out the tiny rotary gun for a assault cannong from the Master of the Ravenwing.

Still trying to find a good alternative to shock sticks...
