Brakiri or Drakh

Hey folks,
Just wanting to start up a new fleet and was wondering what some of the pros & cons are to these two fleets. I like the idea of having another "bad guy" fleet to supplement the Shadows, but the Brakiri are pretty cool looking figs, plus their campaign rule of getting the 1 RR for every refit roll others take is pretty funny. Thoughts? And what are the Gaim playing like? Havn't seen much on here about their playability. Thanks in advance fellas

if you want choice, then definatly the brakiri.

but I Like playing the bad guy too, especially when that bad guy is capable of drropping ships of the line from another ship.

I'm persevering with the drakh through 2e, so will let you know how well I do.

against ISA, they seem almost designed to take them down.

I'm still learning how to use them but the Gaim are doing quite well in my little campaign. E-mines and fighters are a nasty combination, but weak against high armour ships. They also have dificulty doing enough damage to ships with lots of hits. You just have to remember that fighters won't win you every fight. Sometimes you need crewed missiles instead.

Brakiri or Drakh? As a player who has both fleets, my suggestion would be... Both!

the Brakiri have some great choices, and are awesome miniatures while the Drakh are one of the few 'beam teams' left who can field a scary amount of ships inside their huge hangers...

In the end, it comes down to your preference of style. If you play 'bad guys', then go for Drakh. If you like the flexibility of the league, go for Brakiri. Hope that helps...
