The only issue I have with quoting the price from Mongrel is that they appear to be a small manufacturer selling direct, so there's no distributors and retailers taking their cut somewhere along the line. On the other hand, Mongoose need to add in enough money to the RRPs for everyone else their products pass through to make a profit too. I reckon Mongrel would need to set an RRP of about £2 per miniature if there were a supply chain involved.
I know it isn't what was asked, but "Find another quality 28mm miniature on sale in stores" would be a better comparison really. I know it doesn't make much difference to the end customer, but there's just no way a manufacturer could match those prices with at least two other businesses making a profit off the sale of each mini as well
