The 23" range hurts my brain. But it's nice to see the stormtroopers represented as worthwhile troops instead of cannon fodder. They seem to have a nice combination of SST and BF:Evo rules. Good stuff.

even if it does go (in the first - or should that be the last? - three films)absolutely 100% against the canonical evidence. Can't hit a barn door at ten paces, standing around in the open yelling "blast them" considered to be good tactics, and "an entire legion of my best troops" as the Emperor said - one of the best unintentionally funny lines in movie history), taken down by a bunch of teddy bears? Sheesh!
btw, are there any Ewok cards? They ought to be pretty scary!
Hiromoon said:Sorry guys, but the movies really didn't do justice to the storm troopers. Heck, the original concept made them light-saber carrying, shield using 'knights'.
The contradictory cannon will just be filed away with the force-bacteria, and Storm Troopers will assume their mantel as 'Scary' sobs.
Hiromoon said:Really? Why not use supression? The Rebels' forces tend to be made up of militia with some former military, with a seperate force of Special Forces....
Hiromoon said:I'll run it past the other guys on the team then.
And that's why I like creating these mods using the Evo system. The stat line is pretty quick to come up with, you can snatch rules from other sources (like armored, tough, etc)....
Curses. I'm already sick and I almost threw up laughing so hard.DM said:On the subject of Star Wars (and slightly OT) the following Star Wars / RPG based webcomic might be of interest to some readers here.
