AOG sized fighters for Drazi and Shadows

I have tons and tons of Mongoose Shadow, Vorlon, Centauri, Minbari, Drazi and Earth models which are almost all fine. However I personally like the "large" AOG type fighters

As I have bought all of the above I hope no one will think me too traitorous asking this question.....

I am still to get fighters for Drazi and Shadows.

If anyone has AOG Drazi or Shadow fighters they are interested in selling let me know with a private message.

GZG sell some alien ships that look a little like Shadow fighters, anyone ever bought any?

Drazi I am not sure about. I have the fleet box which includes rather a lot of little fighters, but I would prefer to get something bigger. Anyone got any ideas for what would do?

Oh I am also looking to buy a T'Loth sometime, full sized, Mongoose miniature. If anyone has one lying around they really don't want anymore, assembled or unassembled, send me a message, give me an idea what you would like for it.

As blackphoenix says, you can still buy from the old AoG website (now under private ownership). I've bought a load of FA scale ships from there, it works fine and the delivery period is quite acceptable. I bought some Sky Serpents from there, thinking to use them for some of the other Drazi ships (Kestrels, etc), but the Full Scale Sky Serpent is bigger than the FA-scale Warbird and as big as the FA Stormfalcon!

I know I can get them from the US. I was trying to find a slightly cheaper alternative. Either

a) Buy some old unwanted AOG fighters off of UK players

b) Buy some alternative manufacturers figures that might do as large scale Drazi or Shadow fighters.

the Shadow fighters in particular just look like big metal bogies

Someone else might sell model bogies that would do?

Thanks Wulf,

You have given me some ideas....

The fast destroyer looks a lot like a shadow bogie fighter but seems too large to me, is that true?

The scout seems reasonable from your picture as a scout?

The Light R looks a bit small and not quite right??

Does anyone have any Drazi Sunhawks FLEET ACTION scale they don't want, They look as though they would do as large AOG sized Drazi Sky serpent fighters, what do you reckon??

After all the Drazi aren't renowned for using a lot different hull shapes are they

I think I will do without the porno slugs, sometimes Mr Tuffley quite worries me......

It's about an inch long, so, yes, I'd say too big. Shadow fighters are bigger than Frazi, and I do have some full-scale Frazi. The Fast Destroyer is almost twice as long, so not stupidly out of scale, but big. And it would be cheaper to order from the old AoG site!

What about the scout?? Reasonable size and shape?

I do have three full scale shadow fighters that I was intending to put on ebay.

That's going to be a fairly impressive second car... :D "0 to 60 in 0.0004 seconds, singularity drive will run off household waste, hyperspace capable, oh and you can vaporise those annoying chavs who cut you up on the motorway"

The thing I call a Scout in the pic is, well, teensy... marginally over a cm long, less than half the length of a full-scale Frazi, more like a FA scale fighter! The one I call a Light Cruiser is almost exactly the length of the Frazi, but the spikes stick out sideways, unlike the Shadow fighter.

One of the designs I didn't use is FT-705, the 'Destroyer'. It's only got 3 spikes, but it's the right size. Check it out on the page linked in the old thread.

FT705 looks about right to me, cost about £1.25 each which isn't too bad, will check what the AOG prices are for the full size ones.

Which bogie would you say looks most impressive, GZG 705 or AOG shadow fighter?

I've never seen the full-scale Shadow fighter. I was surprised how much surface detail the GZG ships had.
