Anyone want to write a review of the Conan RPG?

I've never reviewed an RPG before, but I do comic book and film reviews for a rather prominent e-zine.

Should any reviews just be posted the Conan boards as their own subject? I fear I didn't see a topic already started...

I've been toying with the idea of writing an evaluation of CtRPG to post on my own site. If only I had the time...

Since I don't have time for details, I would use the tried and true 10 star rating:

Pirate Isles=6 stars
Free Companies=5 stars
the rest in my collection=10 stars.

Mine is posted. Not bad for two hours work, I think.

Rats! Beat me to it with a decent review. And you are quite right: the Conan version of the d20 rules is substantially better than D&D.

And there is not enough of it!

Thanks again Thamilon - great review!

Feel free to write another one - The Library of Epemitreus is strictly for reviews and there is no limit. Or you could review any or all of the supplements/adventures that have come out. The more the better exposure for the game.

We are in desparate need of a review of the great Conan RPG for the Official Robert E. Howard website and I was hoping one of you experienced review writers would write one and submit it to the The Library of Epemitreus Forum.

Here's the link:

Thanks in advance!

I just posted a copy of the review of the "Pocklet Edition" which I wrote for Amazon.com.

Great review JamalloKreen - thanks for posting it! 8)

Many more reviews shall follow -- Ibis willing! -- but I am still suffering the after-effects of a very prolonged series of computer network breakdowns.

Very nice review, Thamilon. It appeared to be written towards Conan fans both into and new to RPGs, which is a very good thing in this case!

That was very much my intent with all the reviews - show how the book might appeal to the non-RPGers.

I've done a few more since then.
