any players in Portland Oregon?

I used to play Babylon 5 wars, but since i've moved away from my play group havn't been able to round up a single player of b5wars so am considering getting into A call to arms but figured i'd see if anyone is in or around the Portland Oregon area.... currenlty i don't have any minis so am holding off on buying minis till i know i'll be able to put them to use.

I know there is a player finder post above but didn't see anyone post in my area so figured i'd see if anyones out there that just hasn't posted on that sticky.

also wanted to double check with 2nd edition out i assume the ONLY products rules wise are the 2nd edition rule book and 2nd edition fleet list book?

Yep, those are the only books you need. However, the rules book does contain the stats for a few ships from the EA, Narn, Minbari and Centauri.

If you are not wanting to buy minis, you may be able to make use of the Sky Full of Stars Counter Sheets. They contain counters for most of the ships currently in the game, although the newest fleets (PSI Corp, Gaim, pak'ma'ra and a few other ships) are not represented.

Also, you'll be able to use any old B5WWars minis you still have.

Also Lokai, do a search along this forum for 'Vassal' and look up the mod and the engine to use it, and you'll be able to find games online a bit more easily if you cannot find them locally. For example, I am in the same TZ as you, but up in washington, so I likely cannot meet up with you a game IRL, but it would be pretty easy to set up a game on vassal.

thanx for the replies guys looks like there are at least a few people i may be able to game with so just have to wait till my regular online source gets in some of the newer models....in the mean time just gonna order the rule book/ship fleet book and hope there arn't any signifigant errors....i noticed in a few posts some mentions of errors ah well these things happen.
