Animate swords and seige weapons

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding this combination. This allows for things to be animated, not just swords like the name misleads. I need to know if this would allow a siege weapon to fire every round, since it would be handling it's own cocking and aiming. There would be people to load a stone on it once it flung back into position, or place a bolt on it after it cocked back. You could even have the engineers assisting in order to get more bonuses to attack, with the assist other fighting ability.

So what does everyone think? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
 
im pretty sure for weapons like the catapult and ballista their rate of fire is the best it can be in their profile. however for a siege engine like a siege tower or ram for it to be self powered would be really handy, and frightening for the opposing army to watch.
 
It would probably be frightening for your own army, too. Your average person on both sides of the line is going to be terrified of magic.
 
Since seige engines are much larger, it would probably be a greater expenditure of PP's.

Not sure on its range, but an unmanned battering ram would be scary.
 
Thank you everyone for answering. In closer examination I noticed a size restriction of tiny or small combinations. It appears that I will need animate statue for the larger objects. So, it looks like we are still going to me out numbered for this up coming massive battle. I am going to have to coninue looking at other options to assist my team mates in this battle.

This does shed some light on animated objects during battles though. The one issue I have for the smaller objects during combat is their losey attack pluses.
