Ok...rules say that one can basically deduct the first 3 Damage and 3 Crew points from the total number of hit points from each separate weapon attacking it (except for Critical Hits of course)... ok that's pretty clear...
Suppose you have 3 EA ships in a Squadron firing the same type of missile system that are 6 AD per ship...ok that'd be 18 AD total(assuming arcs and ranges are accounted for)...
In this case, are you still forced to roll 6 dice separately (in spite of the squadron benefit) and deduct the Gravitic Energy Grid of 3 from each one of these attacks or do you only get to deduct the first 3 Damage/Crew hit points from rolling the 18 all at once?
In other words would it be more correct to say you must deduct 3 Damage/Crew hit points fired by each separate weapon attacking it per enemy ship ?
