[ACTA:SF] Attn: Firing Arc sticker potential purchasers

Mongoose
I have been selling my firing arc stickers to you guys to a great reception, and am now at the point where I need to decide if I want to restock them or not. Sales have dried up lately, and with the minimum order being 200 pcs, I can't justify getting more at this point just for personal use ( I can use, what, maybe 25-30 tops).

So, if anyone has been undecided if they want any, now would be a good time to order them. :D

To remind you what they look like:

Thanks to all my past customers.

I can highly recomend them :)

How much hassle would it be to vary the size as I also use smaller bases for my B5 frigates etc?

That is a very good question. What size were you thinking? I believe the current stickers are 1.875" wide. Same size hole in the middle? If you are using the "small" bases on Mongoose's website, they're 30mm (1.18"). Which means the sticker would be about 1.1" or so.

I did talk to the print shop, and smaller is possible, though if you want the same size hole in the middle, it effectively puts a limit on how small we can go. If you want them w/o the hole, then they might be able to go smaller still.

I also suspect that unless you wanted a ton of them, it might not be very efficient to get a small run of the smaller stickers made. (minimum run is normally 200, though smaller runs are possible but the cost/sticker I pay goes way up).

When you let me know how many you are thinking of, and can confirm the size I'll call them back and get more info.

Hmmmm... I really like the look of the stickers, and they appear quite useful. What sort of pricing are we looking at? As I'm in the process of collecting all five of the current major races, plus the Orions and civilian craft, I figure I would eventually need in excess of 100 stickers if I want to use them on every ship.

$1USD each, 16 (enough for a fleet box) for $15USD + actual shipping. I also can ship to the UK or Canada. Let's take this to PMs to work out details please.

For anyone sitting on the fence about these, I can attest to the quality.
I probably have 80 or so of them now and will probably get a few more before they are all gone.

They are easy to read...
The vinyl is much more durable than paper / cardstock...
Since they have been printed using a 4-color process, they are water proof...
The vinyl easily accepts a dry erase marker label, which then easily erases...
They also work well with Vis'a vis markers...

Hehe. They're already all gone. :D I can have as many made as people want. If you want to get in on this batch that's great. If not, let me know when you're ready to get more...

Awright, Bill... you twisted my arm.

Put me down for 30 more. Email with details inbound.

Aw, didn't try to twist your arm. :) You could have waited til the next batch. :D I'll keep selling the stickers as long as you guys want to buy them.

You might as well get 32; it'll be more efficient than getting 30. 30 stickers for $29 ($15 for 16 stickers + $14 for 14 stickers), whereas 32 are $30.

Thanks - yes the small ones I have are the 1.8" / 30mm - but as yo say it may not be that practicle :)

thanks for looking though :)

I'm definately wanting some of these but need to clarify the pricing and what I might expect to need.

at $1 for "one".. is that just one single sticker - for one single base?

Or is it for a few stickers on one sheets so like say $1 for four of them?

$1 each, 1 sticker for one base. 16 for $15.

I'd like to at least get a set or two of these myself, especially if you're also doing the 30mm ones...

I'm going down to the print shop on Monday AM to order more stickers, and will talk to them about 30mm stickers. My gut feeling is that even it is doable, the print will be pretty small and hard to read at the miniature table. But we'll see.

I could be down with that, I've ordered 2 fleet boxes plan on getting a few more so $15 per a fleet box yes?

do these go on top of the base, or glue underneath?

Correct, $15 per fleet box.

They have adhesive on the bottom, so they stick to the top of the plastic base disc. The adhesive is quite strong; I haven't been able to remove any from the bases.
