This fall when it were made clear that B5:ACTA would live on with Mongoose and IWM we decided that it was a good time to make a drive to get more gamers in Sweden (where we live) as we were not aware of any other B5:ACTA groups here.
Unfortunatly Mongoose in the meantime decided that they would drop the B5 universe license and we had to decide what to do but decided to go ahead anyway as the B5 miniatures game have "died" a lot of times before.
We had a feeling that it would be well recieved as there are a lot of B5 fans over here and that we hopefully would get a lot of interest from the convention crowd on Swedens largest and oldest gaming convention in Gothenburg (GothCon).
We offered demogames of King of the Jumpgate and drop-in games for gamers already into B5:ACTA and returning demo-gamers.
We posted a lot of huge B5 posters on the convention and hoped for the best.
Well the interest were big to be sure. We worked for 18 hours a day (friday and saturday and had gamers waiting outside our door in the mornings waiting for the next chance to play.

More King of the Jumgate with four players on Battle-level The EA-player got to know how bad E-mines can get on fighters and started the game with clearing away 11 of 24 fighters.

We were also visited by some other B5:ACTA gamers who brought their own fleets.
Under the high activity periods there were a lot of interested gamers, unfortunatly we didn't have the manpower and space to handle them all.
The LinCon-general with his escort attended and tried to get us to arrange the event on swedens second largest convention LinCon as well.
Even our colleges that arranged Nam 69 got curious and wanted a chance to try it out.
