40k to SSTE conversion

Who here is interested in a 40k conversion?

I don't play 40k, nor do I have an army, but many players near me do, and I hear some complaining about the rules every now and then.

The way I see it, a conversion of 40k armies would help ease players into SSTE by letting them use their big expensive and sometimes fully painted armies.

Getting new players to learn the rules and play is critical to the success of any new miniatures game.

I've already done some small conversion of space marines I call the Star Knights, the process was pretty fun and I think I can step up to do a full conversion of them, and perhaps other 40k armies.

With what hopefully will be the release of SSTE's new rules and wave 1 stat cards next week, I figure this is a good a time as any to start. But, my time is limited so I need to see how many are interested.

Let 40k die its horrible bloody death if that is going to happen, SST was good on its own merits.

Get SST out first, then come up with something for a conversion. 40k has too many issues with it as of late to have me seriously worried that SST isn't going to put a huge dent in the market, IF the minis are painted to a better standard then the BF2 guys are.
There are people out here willing to pay top doller for a solid game, if Mongoose does better then the old switcharoo, then they have easy money, if not, then the lose even more face, and fans.
