40k Minis vs SST Minis?

I agree, the grizzlies are more fun, thats why I own 9 and plan to buy more. The termies aren't my style nor are the SMs. I do own, built and painted, 48 MI, +commanders and neo dogs (64 models), 24 pathfinders Plus command and Neodogs (34 models) 2 apes, a chicken hawk, a chaz, and 9 grizzlies. (My bug army is even bigger). I own 0 space marines. I do play 40K (Orks, Tyranids, and Tau) and have big armies. SST is the better game, 40k has better figures.

I feel we should give credit where credit is due. GW, over all better figures, Mongoose much better game. That being said I keep buying Mongoose, but very little GW.

If Mongoose could get its miniature quality issues under control it would rocket to the top instead of it's current slow crawl.

There are issues with SST, thats a fact.

Sometimes even my Hobby Skills are REALLY put to the test with the Range - but for some reason that just makes them more precious to me . . . . .

What's better is subjective of course and everyone's opinion is equally valid.

I've got a ton of the old 40K sculpts and a small amount of the new ones. Lately I've gone crazy over picking up SST models over 40K models. I like the simple imagery and smooth armor of the SST figures. Less is more. My big turnoff with many of the Skinnies is the tricked out armor because it reminds me of the path the Space Marines, Eldar, and others have gone down after 1st edition 40K.
