Emperor Mongoose
While reading the availability chapter I realized the focus was only on what is found in the CSC. Now that does make sense, but as they point out, just because something is in the book it does not mean it is available. So the thought came to me, maybe a small side bar pointing out the opposite would be useful. Just because something doesn't show up in the rules does not mean it is not available. Maybe offer a few ideas where to get equipment ideas from, various catalogs like military surplus or camping catalogs, third party products, just about anywhere. Thinking about what a Character would like could add to the role playing opportunities.
A Scout character has an old classical acoustic guitar that has been passed down and he loves to play while he rides the X-Boat. I just looked up a Breedlove Master Class Pacific, now we have the basic specs and the character's player was happy and role playing. Not having something in the CSC does not mean it isn't available. 8)
